You felt stiff and nervous standing outside of the bedroom
upstairs that was now considered your’s and Jimin’s. Palms sweating profusely,
shallow breaths, ticking heartbeat, you were internally a complete mess. You
somehow knew that Jimin wouldn’t stay down at the party while you and Jungkook
talked, so you didn’t waste any time climbing the stairs to find him. You
couldn’t help but think to yourself, he’s probably so confused right now and
he’s all alone thinking up the worst possible scenario about the two of you,
and if there was one person in the entire world that didn’t deserve to have
those thoughts clawing at his mind it was Park Jimin. But once you made it to
the second floor, the sound of people laughing and the pounding music muting
itself considerably, the louder your thoughts began to scream.

You were scared to talk to Jimin because you knew he was
going to want to know what you were feeling, and that was the problem — you had
absolutely no idea what you were feeling. This entire night felt like something
out of dream, something that you never could have possibly imagined happening,
but somehow it did actually manage to happen and now you were going to have to
deal with the consequences of it.

There were repercussions to what you had done. You knew how
completely not over Jungkook you were
when you started seeing Jimin, but you let yourself start to feel things for
him anyways because honestly… You were just tired.
You were tired of feeling miserable, sad, and pathetic, and Jimin was the only
thing that seemed to stifle those thoughts. So you ended up letting yourself
care for him, which in turn led him to care about you, and now here you were
with a shaken heart that didn’t know what it wanted.
